Usage Dashboard

How to view your account usage, subscription status, and memory metrics through the self-serve dashboard.

Accessing the Dashboard#

Your Coppermind account includes a web-based usage dashboard. You can access it from any browser - no special software needed.

The dashboard URL is provided in your welcome email and is also available through your account settings:

"Show me my account info"

The response includes a link to your dashboard.

What the Dashboard Shows#

Account Overview#

  • Your subscription tier (Starter, Pro, or Enterprise)
  • Account status (active, trial, etc.)
  • Trial end date (if applicable)

Usage Metrics#

  • Total requests over the last 30 days
  • Token usage broken down by day
  • Estimated cost based on your usage patterns
  • Tool call breakdown - which MCP tools you use most often

Memory Metrics#

  • Total memories stored across all client minds
  • Memory count per client mind
  • Storage utilization against your tier limits

Reading Your Usage#

The dashboard shows daily usage as a simple chart. Spikes typically correspond to days when you ingested transcripts, ran batch operations, or onboarded a new client.

What normal usage looks like:

  • Steady baseline of 50-200 requests per day during active work
  • Spikes on transcript ingestion days
  • Lower usage on days without client meetings

What to watch for:

  • Usage consistently near your tier limit - consider upgrading
  • Unexpected spikes - check if a connected source is generating unusual activity
  • Very low usage for extended periods - are you getting value from Coppermind?

Mobile Access#

The dashboard is responsive and works on phone and tablet screens. Useful for a quick check between meetings.

Referral Status#

If you have shared your referral link with colleagues, the dashboard shows:

  • Your unique referral code
  • How many people signed up through your link
  • Reward status for each referral

To find your referral link:

"Show me my referral info"

Or check the referral section of the dashboard.

Privacy#

The dashboard only shows your own account data. You cannot see other customers' usage, and they cannot see yours. The dashboard authenticates using your API key, which is stored in your browser session - not in a cookie - and is cleared when you close the tab.

Tips#

  • Check monthly to stay aware of your usage patterns and tier utilization.
  • Review after onboarding a new client to see the usage impact and ensure you have headroom.
  • Share usage data in quarterly reviews if your clients or stakeholders want visibility into how the tool is being used on their behalf.
